The wheels actually worked better than I expected. You do have to move slowly with heavy furniture. Took two of us to maneuver the heavy desk, but it moved across the hardwood floor without making any scratches.

Worked great! Had my downstairs floors redone and needed to move a 50 gallon salt water tank. Took about 15 gallons out and with the help of another person was able to safely roll the tank 20 feet so the installers could continue to install the flooring. I had nightmares about my tank being moved for nights. This item made it as smoothly as it could have been. Was worth the money and then some just for this one use.

I received a high quote for having my bedroom painted and the company was willing to knock $200 if I moved my own furniture. I was worried about a large solid wood dresser with no legs and drawers that don t come out, so I bought this and hoped for the best. I took some maneuvering - mainly because the dresser has no legs and a lip that prevented the jack to reach far enough underneath, but I realized I could prop the jack up using a coaster to increase leverage. It was great. The dresser moved easily, I didn t hurt my back or body, nor did I scratch the floor.

This tool is easy to use and because the lifting head swivels you can easily get into areas were as a fixed head could not. The prime requirement is to have enough room to push down on the handle. Also I suggest that if you have furniture to lift but cannot get enough leverage place the wheels of the tool on a block of wood to provide enough leverage room. Another suggestion is to place a soft rag on the lifting plate to prevent any damage to expensive furniture, should you slip.
